My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feedforward. Other times I will share my final published pieces.

My gillian lee
Gillian Lee tried climbing to the top of Mount Everest thinking he could survive without an oxygen tank. To miss the human traffic jam Gillian climbed the Tibet route on the north side.
At 7600m Gill’s lips were turning dark blue as well as his coughing with blood coming out of Gill Lee’s mouth. He refused to stop until his body switched off and he passed out for 3hrs. There were two shephas helping Gillion Lee.
They used a sleeping mat and transformed the mat into a sled to travel him down the mountain to get to his campsite. The shephas put him into a sleeping bag with hot water bottles and oxygen tanks.
As the shephas were dragging Gill down a 6400m mountain they crossed Chinese rope fixers and sled him all the way down to the bottom of Mount Everest.
Gill was strapped on the back of a yak for six hours and it took 22km back to base camp. Once they helped Gill at the base camp a helicopter took Gillion to Kathmandu hospital. Gillion Lee was awfully sick his mother traveled all the way to Australia to just see her son Gill in Kathmandu hospital. Let's just say she was angry upset and thought her son was very selfish.
The real question is will Gillion Lee strike again.

Great work Alicia, Gillion Lee sounds like a very determined stubborn man a little like someone I know, I can fully understand how his mother would have been very upset and thought he was selfish to be putting himself in danger and not thinking how Sad his family would have been should things have turned out really bad for him I know I would be had that been you.
